Our classic Type III jacket, modified with a slightly longer than traditional body and the addition of side handwarmer pockets. This version is made from our slubby 16oz denim. This deep indigo selvedge denim has a really uneven hand on both the face and the reverse (think off the scale loom-chatter), but at the same time, it is incredibly soft and comfortable to wear.

16oz Japanese Slubby Selvedge Denim

- 100% cotton
- Loosely woven to create a heavily textured, breathable denim
- Indigo rope-dyed warp / white organic cotton weft
- Right-hand twill weave
- This slub denim will fade with a distinctive grainy characteristic through wear and washing
- This denim has a very loose weave making it susceptible to skewing, so you may notice leg or arm twist. If you prefer to avoid this characteristic, we recommend exploring our other denim options

Fabric Focus

Sanforized & One-Washed

- Sanforization is a post-weave mechanical process which removes most potential shrinkage from a fabric before garment construction
- To further reduce the risk of shrinkage, we wash the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.
- No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to our care guidelines

Care Guidelines

- We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry
